Old Glory will be losing one of the teams original players, with flanker Dacoda Worth heading to the Chicago Hounds. The former army sergeant joined the team for the 2019 exhibition season and was one of the few selected to remain on the roster for OGDC's MLR debut in 2020. This is the first player from Old Glory's roster last year who will be moving on to another MLR club.

Originally from Indianapolis, Worth attended the University of Indiana and played D1A rugby. This will be something of a homecoming for him, then, as he returns to the Midwest. He has also played for the Chicago Lions, one of the top teams in the city.

Worth was somewhat underutilized at Old Glory, with no caps in 2020, 3 in 2021, and 4 in 2022, for a total of 148 minutes. He proved himself when he he did get time, however, with an average of 9.7 meters per carry and no missed tackles, albeit on a small sample size. He was also effective at lineout time, stealing four opposing lineouts.

Hopefully Worth will see a good amount of time in Chicago. It's a shame his shot couldn't come at Old Glory, but I hope he succeeds anyway.
